What Pervasive Software has to offer
Medical Insurance: Medical insurance is available to all full-time employees and their eligible dependents through the PHCS/PPO network. Pervasive pays 100% of the employee premium and 89% of the dependent premium. Premiums are paid on a pre-tax basis.
Dental Insurance: Dental insurance is available to all full-time employees and their eligible dependents through MetLife. Pervasive pays 100% of the employee premium and 85% of the dependent premium. Premiums are paid on a pre-tax basis. Orthodontia is also available.
Vision Insurance: Vision insurance is available to all full-time employees and their eligible dependents through Vision Service Plan. Pervasive pays 100% of the employee and dependent premiums. The employee and his/her dependents must be enrolled in the medical plan to be eligible.
Supplemental Cancer Insurance: Cancer insurance is available for employees who wish to have additional coverage. The cost of this pre-tax benefit includes cancer screening services, and in the event of diagnosis, provides benefits in addition to other insurance plans/coverage.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D): Basic Life and AD&D are provided for all full-time employees. Coverage for each is provided at two times the annualized salary. Pervasive pays 100% of the premiums. Additional Life Insurance and AD&D coverage is available to all full-time employees. Employees can purchase this additional coverage for the employee, spouse and/or children.
Short Term Disability Insurance (STD): STD insurance is provided for all full-time employees. The minimum waiting period is seven days and the maximum period covered is twelve weeks. Coverage is provided at two-thirds of the employee's weekly income, up to a maximum of $2,000 per week. This benefit is paid by Pervasive.
Long Term Disability Insurance (LTD): LTD insurance is provided for all full-time employees. The minimum waiting period is 90 days from the date of disability. Coverage is provided at two-thirds of the employee's monthly income up to a maximum of $15,000 per month. This benefit is paid by Pervasive.
125 Cafeteria Plan: This flexible spending plan is available to all full-time employees. This benefit plan is established under Section 125 of the Internal Revenue Code, which permits employees to pay for certain, eligible health, dental and dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars. The Plan includes a debit card for reimbursed expenses that allows employees to avoid out-of-pocket expenses.
Stock Options: Options are granted to all employees upon hire as part of their compensation package.
401(k) Plan: This Plan allows employees to contribute pretax earnings for retirement into the Plan, up to the annual maximum set by the IRS. In addition, Pervasive provides a 401k Company Match benefit. Employees are eligible to enroll during any payroll period following their hire date. Employees must be at least 21 year old to participate.
Incentive Bonus: An incentive bonus program is available to all full-time non-commissioned employees who are not on any type of specialized incentive plan. This discretionary bonus is paid quarterly if preset company and individual goals are met. Covered employees are eligible to participate at the beginning of the quarter following their date of hire.
Employee Assistance Plan (EAP): An EAP is available at no cost for all employees and their family members and provides confidential advice on a variety of issues from a professional staff that is independently employed through an independent provider. Assistance is available 24/7.
Vacation: Vacation is accrued at 3.08 hours per pay period (or the equivalent of 10 days per year) for regular full-time employees during the first 12 months of service. The accrual rate increases by the equivalent of one day for each year of service after that, up to a maximum rate of 20 days per year.
Paid Time Off (PTO): PTO is granted to all regular full-time employees on January 1 of each calendar year. All regular full-time employees receive 5 days (or 40 hours) of PTO on an annual basis. Employees who are hired after January 1 receive a prorated amount in the first year of employment based on their date of hire.
Holidays: There are eight scheduled company holidays per calendar year. Three floating holidays per year are also provided in order to accommodate a diverse employee base (prorated based on date of hire). Plus, employees receive an additional “personal holiday” each year to celebrate their Pervasive anniversary date.
Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $2,000 per calendar year is available to all regular full-time employees for qualified programs.
